Terms of sale
Last updated: 19 October 2026 (definition of delivery clarified before the first sale)
Seller and contact
LaneVertex is developed and sold by Michael König-Weichhardt (individual entrepreneur), Rechbauerstraße 39, Top AIO BE 8, 8010 Graz, Austria. VAT ID (UID): ATU61180322. Email: support@lanevertex.com. These terms apply to purchases of LaneVertex Desktop v1 on lanevertex.com.
What you buy
A preorder of a personal license for LaneVertex Desktop v1 for one named purchaser, usable on all computers that person personally controls and that run a supported operating system. You choose macOS, Windows or Linux at checkout; delivery happens when the qualified release for that system is available.
Delivery means a released, non-beta Desktop v1 for your operating system with: downloads over one or more of your network links; uploads to an S3-compatible storage destination from the app; upload and download rates per link; a mobile-data limit per phone; and a manual choice of which links each transfer may use. A monitor preview or beta alone does not fulfil the preorder. The license includes 12 months of v1 feature updates and email support from delivery; Desktop v1 remains usable afterwards, with no subscription. The free core and CLI are not part of this purchase.
Price and payment
The price is €39 as one payment, including applicable taxes. The payment is processed by Stripe with Stripe Managed Payments: Link (a Stripe service) is the merchant of record for the payment transaction, calculates and remits VAT or sales tax and sends you the receipt and invoice by email. The price may be shown in your local currency. Promotion codes are entered at checkout.
Conclusion of the contract
The products page is not a binding offer. By confirming the payment at checkout you make a binding offer to buy; the contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed and we show or send your license key. The contract languages are English and German. We store the order data and send the order details and your license key to you by email.
Delivery, cancellation and refunds
You receive a signed license key right after payment and by email. When Desktop v1 for your operating system is released, we send the download to the email address used at checkout.
Until delivery you can cancel at any time for a full refund. If no qualifying release for your operating system is delivered within 90 calendar days of payment, the preorder is cancelled and fully refunded without you having to ask. After delivery there is a voluntary 30-day refund period in addition to your statutory rights. Refunds use the original means of payment and are processed within 14 days; payment-provider and bank processing can take longer. A refunded license becomes invalid.
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Michael König-Weichhardt, Rechbauerstraße 39, Top AIO BE 8, 8010 Graz, Austria, support@lanevertex.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example with the withdrawal function on this website ("Withdraw from contract" at the bottom of every page), by email or by post. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired. We confirm the receipt of a withdrawal by email without delay.
Effects of withdrawal: if you withdraw from this contract, we reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
Early expiry: for digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires once we begin the supply, but only if you have expressly consented to the supply starting before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Sending the license key with this preorder is not such a supply. If Desktop v1 is released within your withdrawal period, we ask for this consent separately before the download. Your right to cancel the preorder before delivery remains in any case.
Model withdrawal form (complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract). To Michael König-Weichhardt, Rechbauerstraße 39, Top AIO BE 8, 8010 Graz, Austria, support@lanevertex.com: I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the supply of the following digital content: LaneVertex Desktop v1. Ordered on (*): … Name of consumer(s): … Address of consumer(s): … Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): … Date: … (*) Delete as appropriate.
Warranty and liability
The statutory warranty rights for digital content apply. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for personal injury. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations and limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this contract, as far as the law permits.
Order data
To perform the contract we process your name, email address, billing address, chosen operating system and license key. Stripe and Link process the payment data under their own privacy policies; we never see your card details. The license email is sent through Cloudflare Email Service. We keep order data as long as Austrian tax and commercial law requires (generally seven years). See also the privacy policy.
Applicable law and disputes
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country of your habitual residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence. We are not obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board and do not generally do so; please contact us first at support@lanevertex.com.
